An overview of the Zula sweepstakes casino
Zula is a sweepstakes casino that has stood the test of time. Not only that, it hasn’t remained stagnant. Zula Casino first opened its digital doors in 2023, at which time the brand offered less than 1,500 casino-style games, which were all slots. Unlike traditional real money casinos, which are only available in a handful of states, players can join Zula in more than 30 locations.
Since then, Zula has upped its offering to 2,500+ games, which now include linked progressive jackpot slots, video poker, Classic table games, Arcade-style titles like Plinko, and scratchcards. Not to mention that Zula now collaborates with many popular game studios which include RubyPlay and Booming Games.
As you may already be aware you won't find any no deposit bonuses at sweepstakes casinos. Instead, new players at Zula can claim a no-purchase welcome bonus of 120,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins, which is incredibly generous.
For some context, a recent Jolly Sweeps review mentioned a welcome offer of 5,000 Gold Coins and 3 Sweeps Coins, which is fairly modest in comparison. With Zula Casino, though, you won’t receive the full 120,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins right away. The total is spread across a series of tasks that you’ll need to complete first:
- Initial sign up: 20,000 GC and 2 SC
- Verify your phone: 30,000 GC and 3 SC
- Agree to email marketing: 20,000 GC and 2 SC
- Agree to SMS marketing: 20,000 GC and 2 SC
- Link your Facebook account: 10,000 GC
- Link your Google account: 10,000 GC
- Claim your first daily login bonus: 10,000 GC and 1 SC
Understandably that won’t appeal to everyone, and it’s more challenging to claim than the LoneStar Casino bonus of 100,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins. But on the plus side, once you’re done you can start exploring Zula Casino’s 2,500-strong games library right away. All of your gameplay, whether you choose Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins, will count towards your progression through the seven tiers of the brand’s loyalty program.
What matters to you most as a sweepstakes casino player?
The fact that you are actively looking for sites like Zula Casino suggests one of two things. Either you feel like something is missing at Zula, or perhaps you just fancy a change of scenery once in a while.
In the next part of this guide, you’ll be able to explore some excellent sweepstakes casino alternatives to Zula Casino. They are not necessarily better than Zula, just different. Although the overview of each sweepstake brand is relatively short, they should give you a fair idea of what it’s like to play at each site, and consider which of them would be the closest to ideal.
Comparing Zula Casino alternatives
There is nothing at all wrong with Zula Casino, but if you have been playing there since the brand first launched in 2023, you might fancy a change. Trying another sweepstakes casino can also be a good way to see what else is out there, especially if you want different promotions, a new game library, or features that Zula doesn’t offer.
Starting with the basics, you’ve already seen that the no-purchase welcome bonus at Zula Casino gives you a total of 120,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins. That’s assuming you have completed each of the associated tasks to collect the full amount. It’s a solid starting offer, but a welcome bonus is only one part of the overall experience.
When comparing Zula Casino alternatives, it’s worth looking at the ongoing promotions as well. Daily login rewards, referral offers, loyalty programmes, tournaments, and mail-in promotions can all make a difference once you’ve been playing for a while. The available games, redemption options, customer support, and state availability are also worth checking before you decide where to play.
More detailed overviews will follow shortly, but here’s how five of the best social casinos like Zula match up in terms of their free welcome bonuses:
CrazyCoins - Play 1,700+ games with a huge GC welcome bonus
This sweepstakes casino isn’t called CrazyCoins for no reason. A welcome bonus that contains 1,000,000 Gold Coins (GC) is pretty crazy in itself, and rather outshines the 1 Sweeps Coin (SC) that accompanies them.
But this brand’s generosity doesn’t end with the welcome bonus. Here’s a quick look at some of the many promos available for existing CrazyCoins players:
- Daily login bonus: Collect up to 70,000 GC and 3 SC every week. Log in every day for 7 consecutive days to get an extra 7,000 GC and 2 SC
- Mail-in bonus (AMoE): A generous 5 Sweeps Coins in return for sending a handwritten request to CrazyCoins HQ
- Refer-a Friend: Receive 10,000 GC and 5 SC for every successful referral
- Faucet: Get a Gold Coin top up whenever your GC balance falls to zero
Provided you are at least 21 years old you can use your bonuses to play 1,700+ casino-style games. You can enjoy slots or table games from 3 Oaks Gaming, Novomatic, and Hacksaw Gaming, plus a collection of social live casino games from Evolution.
Gleaming Slots Casino - Enjoy generous loyalty rewards and daily bonuses
In case you were slightly concerned that this sweepstakes casino only offers casino-game slots, you can put that worry aside. Despite only having just over 500 games in total, at Gleaming Slots you’ll find just about every kind of game you might wish for.
The available slots are provided by top developers like Evoplay and 3 Oaks Gaming, so old favorites like 3 Red Hot Chillies are firmly in place, alongside exclusive titles such as 777 Rapid Gems from TaDa Gaming. There are 20+ single player table games like First Person Lightning Roulette from Evolution, 10 shooting games from TaDa Gaming, including Dinosaur Tycoon, plus a small number of arcade-style titles and scratchies from Jili. Ongoing promos here include:
- An optional first Gold Coin purchase bonus where you get 1.5 million Gold Coins for $9.99 with 30 free Sweeps Coins included
- A daily login bonus to collect 63,000 GC and 5.80 SC if you achieve a 7-day streak
- Up to up to 50 Sweeps Coins for every friend you refer, plus you get a spin on the Prize Wheel with the chance to collect another 200 SC
- The Gleaming Club loyalty program where there are nine tiers from Bronze to Onyx which provides weekly GC and SC rewards
Add to that 24/7 support via live chat, email, or via the Gleaming Slots responsive social media channels, and you’re onto a winner.
Go Go Gold - New platform with quests and rewards
Go Go Gold is one of the most recent brands to make it onto several lists of new sweepstakes casinos. Considering that the brand launched less than a year ago, that’s pretty impressive. Part of the reason might be the Go Go Gold new player bonus, which includes 200,000 Gold Coins and 4 Sweeps Coins, which is followed by:
- New-player Quest where you can get up to 100 SC by completing tasks
- A sweepstakes casino daily login bonus with a progressive 7-day streak worth up to 100,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins every week
- Daily Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin Missions
- Recharge Milestones which are unlocked by making optional Gold Coin purchases
You can use these bonuses to play 400+ casino-style games including slots, jackpot titles, social live dealer tables and live game shows. Go Go Gold also stands out for its low Sweeps Coin redemption threshold of 50 eligible Sweeps Coins, and everything here is backed up by 24/7 live chat support.
Hello Millions - Unique user-interface and an extensive VIP program
One of the most impressive things about Hello Millions is the brand’s website, which is designed with a unique comic book theme. That’s not to take away from the brand's welcome bonus which gives new players 15,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins following a registration process that takes less than two minutes.
Ongoing Hello Millions promos include:
- The Daily Prize Wheel where you can collect up to 2,000 Gold Coins and 0.4 Sweeps Coins
- A referral program with a reward of 130,000 Gold Coins and 65 Sweeps Coins per referral
- Optional Gold Coin packages via flash sales
- An AMoE offering 4 Sweeps Coins for each successful mail-in request
- Twice-weekly social media giveaways via Instagram and Facebook
- Daily slot tournaments with Gold Coin or Sweeps Coin leaderboard prizes
- The Loyalty Lounge VIP Club where you’ll progress through 148 levels and eight tiers
You can use the virtual currencies you collect to play 1,500+ casino-style games from more than 35 top-ranking game providers. The brand’s game lobby also features an unusual set up, where slot games are divided into more than 20 categories, with the option to filter by provider, game, category, RTP, or volatility.
The brand’s small but carefully-curated social live casino contains exclusive titles from ICONC21 plus popular table game variants like Gravity Blackjack and Gravity Blackjack. There’s no shortage of support options at Hello Millions either. Take your pick from 24/7 live chat, a phone number, and email, or open a Ticket.
CrownCoins Casino - Established brand with regular tournaments and bonus drops
CrownCoins Casino is one of the longest-standing and best sweepstakes casinos to play at. There are almost 700 casino-style games to explore here, which mostly consist of slots, with plenty of emphasis on exclusive and jackpot tiles provided by Relax Gaming and Hacksaw. The CrownCoins Originals are definitely worth a look if you like arcade-style games. Plus there’s a whole section of the game library dedicated to Slingo and live game shows.
New players can claim a generous no-purchase welcome bonus of 100,000 Crown Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins, and nobody can say that CrownCoins Casino doesn’t know how to keep loyal players entertained. Here are just a few the brand’s regular promos:
- An optional first Crown Coin purchase bonus with packages containing 200% extra CC, plus some free Sweeps Coins
- A progressive daily login bonus with a 7-day streak worth up to 40,000 Crown Coins and 1.5 Sweeps Coins
- Slots enthusiasts can enjoy regular Crown Races (Crown Coins prize pool) and Mega Races (Sweeps Coin prize pool) leaderboard tournaments

In terms of customer support you can send an email to CrownCoins Casino, which will typically receive a response within 12 hours. Alternatively, the brand actively encourages players to make contact at any time via X, Facebook, or Instagram.
