Caesars Online Info

Caesars Interactive Entertainment runs the online gaming side of things in partnership with Scientific Games for the online sportsbook and with the experienced NYX Gaming Group for the casino.

Our Caesars Online review will cover the sports and casino options in great detail. We’ll be starting with a sportsbook review, follow that with a close look at the casino and then wrap things up with a listing of all accepted deposit methods. This is a lengthy review, so feel free to skip around as you please.

Caesars Online Sportsbook

Caesars launched online and mobile sports betting for the New Jersey market in Q3 2018 with coverage of the major US sports plus a smattering of international leagues. Later, Caesars Casino launched mobile betting in Pennsylvania and then in Indiana after receiving the green light from regulators in each state.

To this day, Caesars Sportsbook still feels like a product that is in development with limited options compared to other betting sites. Overall, this is a quality sportsbook run by reputable people, but Caesars Sportsbook has some catching up to do considering the type of competition it faces from the likes of DraftKings, PointsBet USA and

Caesars could stand to significantly expand its pre-game and in-play betting markets, but overall has everything in place for recreational bettors. The sportsbook is easy to use and even customers new to sports betting should have no issues getting started.

Although Caesars is missing some of the more advanced types of wagers and comes up short on in-play betting, it does link to the broader Total Rewards program that offers benefits to customers of the brick-and-mortar Caesars in Atlantic City as well as the online sportsbook. If you’re already a member of the program, this alone is a major selling point.

Our full Caesars Sportsbook review continue below, but here’s the quick rundown to start:

  • Caesars Online Sportsbook is available in: Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Nevada
  • Operated by: Caesars Interactive Entertainment in partnership with Scientific Games
  • Established: launched in 2013, Caesars Sportsbook launched in 2018
  • Platforms: Desktop, iOS and Android
  • New customer bonus: $10 free bet and up to $300 for sportsbook, 100% up to $300 for the casino

Caesars Sportsbook Bonus

$10 Free Bet + 100% up to $300 First Wager Match

Caesars Online Sportsbook offers a two-part welcome bonus for new customers. One is a no-deposit bonus in the form of a $10 free bet for signing up and the other is a 100% up to $300 bonus for first time depositors.

Here’s how each works.

After signing up for an account and verifying your identity, Caesars Casino will drop a $10 free bet into your account as a thank you for registering.

The bonus bet must be used all at once as a single wager and is treated as site credit, which means the bonus money will not be returned as a part of your payout if your wager is a winner.

Additionally, the bonus may only be used on wagers with odds of -200 or greater. For example, the bonus bet cannot be used on a wager with odds of -350 but may be used on a wager with odds of +350.

Use the bonus code SPORTS10 when signing up to claim this offer.

If you sign up for an account and make a real money deposit of at least $10, Caesars Casino will match your first wager with a free bet worth up to $300.

This bonus is subject to similar terms as the free bet offer. That is, the bonus bet must be used all on a single wager and cannot be broken up across multiple bets. If your free bet is a winner, you will be paid the net winnings on the wager but not the return of the original stake. The bonus must also be used on a wager priced at -200 or greater.

Use the promo code SPORTS300 when making your first deposit to claim this offer.

Sports Markets and Wagering Options

All the major sports are covered with the likes of football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf and MMA, but coverage of sports such as rugby, cricket and others that are popular in other parts of the world is largely lacking.

While other NJ sportsbooks cover an entire world of betting, Caesars is sticking to the main US sports for now. That being said, Caesars does cover international leagues for the sports that are popular in the US. For example, international basketball leagues, the Canadian Football League, Canadian Hockey League and most major international soccer competitions are covered.

The same also goes for the types of betting options offered for individual events. For example, a recent Monday Night Football game between the Broncos and Chiefs had a total of 18 betting markets covering the point spread, money line, point total, first half spread, first half total, first team to score, total sacks, total team point and a handful of other props.

The betting variety at Caesars online should prove adequate for casual bettors, but there are other NJ sportsbooks that crush Caesars when it comes to pure options. For example, SugarHouse Sportsbook covered that same Monday Night NFL game and boasted 137 betting markets for that matchup.

Currently, the list of sports leagues covered by Caesars Online Sportsbook includes:

MLBNCAA BaseballNBANCAA Basketball
WNBAEuroleagueNFLNCAA Football
CHLUFCBoxingChampions League
MLSEuropa LeagueSoccer InternationalsRugby

Caesars Mobile App and Betting Interface

Caesars Sportsbook is fully compatible with desktop and mobile devices. If you’re on a desktop, you can head to to view the lines, place bets and manage your account. Mobile users can get the official Caesars Sports app from the store on your iOS or Android device.

The betting interface on all three platforms can best be described as adequate. The current interface is unlikely to win any design awards any time soon, but it’s easy to navigate with a clear listing of the sports available along the left side of the screen and an overview of upcoming games in the middle.

You can place bets on the spread, money line or total from the main screen or tap the matchup to visit an inner page listing additional markets for that specific game. From there, you can place bets on other aspects of that game such as alternate lines, player props, team props and more.

One handy little feature that isn’t obvious at first glance is the ability to build custom parlays. Whenever you select a wager, Caesars creates a betting slip on the right side of the screen to track your current wagers, how much you’re risking and what you stand to win. If you add two or more wagers to the betting slip, it automatically creates a parlay option with odds automatically generated to reflect your selections.

Caesars parlay

For example, you can see in the screenshot to the right that I have a Colorado Rockies moneyline at +131 and a Georgia State Panthers point spread at -110. The bottom of the betting slip has generated a parlay involving both outcomes with odds of +341. This parlay option appears any time you add multiple selections to your betting slip.

Where the Caesars betting app could improve would be adding game statistics such as the current score and who has possession as well as introducing a search feature on the main page that would allow users to find specific games, teams and players.

Caesars Online Casino Review

While Caesars sportsbook is a fairly new offering, the online casino has been active in New Jersey since 2013. The sportsbook still feels a bit unfinished in certain respects, but the casino has clearly had time to mature and is one of the better legal casino sites in the United States.

A large game collection and a wide range of game types (slots, video poker, table games and virtual sports) make this a complete online casino. NYX provides the software platform and some of the games, but it too is partnered with other game developers to provide additional games. The end result is a sleek platform stocked with a diverse variety of games from multiple providers.

In all, Caesars Online Casino provides more than 450 games at last count. That number is always growing as the various developers who work with Caesars and NYX release additional titles.

Caesars Casino Bonus offers a two-part welcome bonus to all new customers. The first offer you can claim is $10 sign up bonus that requires no deposit. If you like what you see after trying the casino with the $10 free play, you can make a deposit to claim a 100% match bonus worth up to $300.

Something worth mentioning up front is Caesars Online bonuses come with significantly better terms and conditions than offers found at most other NJ casinos. You will find it easier to clear the Caesars Casino bonuses than most others offered by competing sites. This is a major plus in favor of Caesars.

In addition to these bonuses, Caesars Online runs frequent promotions for existing customers as a way to say thanks and keep you around. These bonuses change often, but a recent example was a 100% up to $100 bonus celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Once you have an account, they’ll let you know whenever new promotions come out.

If you’re at least 21 and are located in New Jersey, you can sign up for an account at to get a $10 no-deposit bonus. You do need to register and verify your account, but you do not need to make a deposit of your own. Simply sign up and you’ll get $10 to try the casino risk-free.

Wagering Requirements: In order to withdraw the bonus or any winnings obtained by wagering the bonus, you’ll need to wager the bonus 1x on slots, 2x on video poker or 5x on any other game. In other words, you need to bet a total of $10 on slots, $20 on video poker or $50 on any other game before withdrawing.

When you make your first deposit of $10 or more at Caesars NJ, they’ll double it with a 100% deposit bonus worth up to $300. For example, a deposit of $50 will get you $50 in bonus funds while a $300 deposit will get you $300 in bonus funds.

Wagering Requirements: In order to withdraw the bonus and any winnings obtained by wagering the bonus, you will need to wager 5x the bonus + deposit amount on slots, 10x on video poker or 25x on other games.

Caesars Game Variety

Game variety is a strong point for Caesars Online with several hundred games from a multitude of software developers. For players, this means there are 400+ games to choose from and many different styles of games on offer due to various, independent software developers contributing games to

Modern developers such as NetEnt supply the latest in video slots while older, more established developers such as IGT and Everi provide online versions of some of their most popular real-world slot machines. Inspired Gaming provides a collection of virtual sports, there are a variety of table games such as roulette and blackjack, progressive jackpot machines and even instant win scratch cards.

This is one of the biggest game collections among New Jersey casinos and more are added on a regular basis. All games can be tested online at with no registration or download necessary.

The full games list as of this review includes:

  • About 400 slots

No download is necessary to play at Caesars Casino online from your desktop or mobile device. Just head to and you can try the games for free right there or sign up for an account and play for real money. Mobile and tablet users also have options to download Caesars Casino mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices as well.

Caesars Casino relies on the NYX Open Platform System (OPS), which provides the underlying gaming platform and a collection of games from 40+ casino software providers. OPS has received numerous industry awards and can generally be considered a safe, reliable gaming platform.

Agreements with third-party software developers make it possible for Caesars Casino to provide titles from dozens of different developers. A few of the more prominent names that provide games for Caesars include NetEnt, IGT, NYX, SG Interactive, Everi and Gaming Realms.

Game quality, graphics and styling vary greatly from one game to the next depending on the provider in question. Titles by the likes of NetEnt and Gaming Realms are produced with an extreme sense of polished graphics and in-depth gameplay while developers such as Everi provide copies of the exact same slots found in real-world Atlantic City casinos.

Caesars Casino Slots

Slots are a definite strong point for Caesars Casino with roughly 400 slots at last count. Naturally, this leads to a ton of variety both in style and gameplay. The game types include basic reel slots, modern video slots and a smattering of progressive jackpot games such as Rags to Riches, Captain Nemo and Divine Fortune.

The NYX platform that powers Caesars Online releases new games from various providers on a regular basis. Ever since Caesars contracted with NYX in 2016, the games list has grown consistently month over month. If the current lineup of slots ever grows stale, just wait a while and the odds are you’ll find new games have been added since your last visit.

Navigation can actually be a bit troubling due to there being so many games to choose from. The main casino lobby does not offer much in the way of sorting features, so you end up browsing through hundreds of titles without any options to filter by jackpot size or software provider. You can search for the names of individual slots if you have a certain game in mind, but it would be nice to see Caesars add a sorting ability to help narrow down the choice.

Currently, the existing lineup should satisfy slots players of most types. Whether you’re into simple, old-fashioned slots or games that boast the latest graphics and multiple bonus rounds, you should find something that suits your style.

Caesars Online also has a few chain reaction slots such as Asgardian Stones where winning lines explode to free up room for additional symbols to drop in from the top to potentially trigger a cascading avalanche of winning combinations with a single spin of the reels.

Table Games and Video Poker

Table games and video poker combine for an additional 40 or so games, but a good portion of those are just variations of popular casino classics such as blackjack and roulette. Tables games are particularly light on variety with blackjack, roulette, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker and baccarat being the only games on offer.

There are nine variations of blackjack with minor differences between one another and eight versions of roulette that do include some interesting variations. Three-wheel roulette, for example, adds depths of play by spinning three wheels every time and the opportunity to win payouts as high as 1200x your original bet.

The full table games list includes:

  • Blackjack (9 variations)
  • Roulette (8 variations)
  • Let It Ride
  • Three Card Poker
  • Baccarat

The video poker situation is not nearly as dire with 21 video poker machines, plus several of those machines offering even more variations once you enter the game. Some of the video poker games you’ll find include Deuces Wild, Double Bonus, Jacks or Better, Tens or Better and more.

The full video poker list includes:

  • Aces and Faces
  • 100 hand All American
  • Deuces Wild (3 variations)
  • Double Bonus
  • Double Bonus Plus
  • Regal Poker
  • Regal Poker Deluxe
  • Double Regal Poker
  • Double Double Regal Poker
  • Bonus Poker
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Five Play Draw Poker Multi-Hand
  • Jacks or Better (3 variations)
  • Triple Play Draw Poker Multi-Hand
  • Jester Poker
  • Tens or Better

Virtual Sports Betting offers five virtual sports betting games from Inspired Entertainment that allow you to wager on the outcomes of short, simulated sporting events. After you place your bets, you watch the game play out in real time on your screen and receive immediate payouts on your winning wagers. The experience is purposely designed to mimic actual sports betting with the exception being that these games run at a much faster pace and are available around the clock.

Prior to each game, you are given options to bet on the winner, point total and even props such as first and last team to score. Video game-style graphics play through the action so you can watch the game progress and monitor your bets.

The outcomes are randomized to a degree, although there are still favorites and underdogs just like there would be in a real-world competition. New games and races start every few minutes all day, every day.

Caesars Payment Methods

Once you have a verified account with, you may fund it with a credit card, debit card, bank transfer, one of several e-wallets or even in-person at Caesars Casino in Atlantic City.

  • ACH eCheck: This is one of the most convenient deposit methods as it transfers money to and from your bank account and your Caesars Online account. The first time you deposit with this method, you will be asked to enroll in Global Payments VIP Preferred to get started. After that, all deposits can be completed instantly from within your account.
  • Credit and Debit Cards: Caesars Online accepts Visa and MasterCard and charges no fees. This is a convenient way to deposit, but some banks still block transactions to online gaming sites. Some banks also treat deposits to gambling sites as cash advances and will charge you additional fees.
  • Online Banking Transfer: This method uses your bank’s online bill pay feature to send money to your Caesars account. Each time you deposit, you’ll be redirected to a page at your bank’s website where you will log in with your existing online banking password to authorize the deposit.
  • PayPal: PayPal is an e-wallet that serves as a stopping point between your bank account and your gaming account. Once you have a PayPal account, you can use it to send money, receive money and make payments online. In my experience, PayPal is particularly useful for keeping my gambling bankroll separate from all my other money.
  • Caesars Prepaid Card: Caesars Prepaid is a virtual and physical debit card that you can fund with your own bank card or an e-check. After you sign up for a Caesars Prepaid card, you can fund it immediately and use the virtual card to fund your Caesars account. They’ll also mail you a physical copy of the card that you can use anywhere Discover is accepted.
  • Cash at Caesars Atlantic City: Just stop by Caesars Casino in Atlantic City anytime to fund your online account in-person with cash.
  • PayNearMe: PayNearMe is a way to make cash deposits at local 7-Elevens across New Jersey. Select this option when you’re logged in at to print off a ticket or mobile receipt. Bring the printout or receipt with you to the nearest 7-Eleven and then pay with cash to fund your account.

Caesars State Markets and Operations

Caesars Entertainment is staring in the face of a giant opportunity when it comes to sports betting. The company already operates casinos in multiple states, and a merger with Eldorado Resorts (which is to take on the Caesars brand name) could very well make Caesars Entertainment the single largest gaming operator in the United States.

With that in mind, we can look ahead to the many states in which Caesars may one day operate pending regulatory approval. The states below either already have active Caesars sportsbooks or may in the future.

It should also be noted that some of these sportsbooks may operate under the DraftKings brand as sports betting operations get underway in additional states thanks to a deal reached between the two in early 2019. Under the terms of that agreement, Caesars will partner with DraftKings in certain states pending favorable legislation.

  • Land-Based Partner: None announced yet

Caesars Casino does not have any locations in Michigan and would therefore need to strike an agreement with a local casino operator to enter the retail and/or online sports betting markets. There has been no word of any such partnerships to date, but Michigan is shaping up to be an attractive market for operators such as Caesars.

  • Availability: Retail sportsbooks and mobile betting likely coming soon
  • Potential Retail Sportsbook Location: Harrah’s Metropolis Southern Illinois

Illinois legalized sports betting in 2019 with a law authorizing land-based casinos to launch retail sportsbooks and mobile betting. Caesars Entertainment operates Harrah’s Metropolis Southern Illinois, which may serve as the company’s launch point into the IL sports betting market.

  • Availability: Nothing announced yet
  • Potential Retail Sportsbook Locations: Isle Casino and Lady Luck Casino in Black Hawk

Caesars Entertainment operates two sportsbooks in Mississippi through existing land-based casinos. Harrah’s Gulf Coast and Horseshoe Tunica both launched sportsbooks shortly after Mississippi legalized in-person wagering.

  • Availability: Nothing yet
  • Potential Retail Sportsbook Locations: Harrah’s North Kansas City

Missouri has flirted with sports betting legislation in each of the past couple years, but progress has been slow. Nonetheless, Caesars should have little trouble gaining market access with its ownership of Harrah’s North Kansas City.

  • Availability: Retail sportsbooks coming soon
Potential Retail Sportsbook Locations: Harrah’s Cherokee and Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River

A sports betting bill approved by the North Carolina legislature and signed into law by Gov. Cooper authorizes retail sportsbooks at each of the state’s two tribal casinos. Caesars Entertainment just happens to manage both and will have the NC market all to itself. Those sportsbooks are scheduled to launch Fall 2019.
