PrizePicks prediction markets are based on exchange-traded Yes/No contracts that ask whether specific events will happen, covering topics ranging from sports to the weather.

If you spend $100 on Houston, and they win, you’ll receive a payout of $303. It’s straightforward on your screen, but what happened behind the scenes was you spent $100 on Houston Yes contracts at $0.33 per contract (which got you about 303 contracts). When Houston won, your contracts settled at a price of $1 each, resulting in a total return of $303.
