WatchandWager Review
WatchandWager is an online horse racing betting site available in most US states.
The WatchandWager app offers pari-mutuel wagering on 500+ tracks, but a dated interface and limited features put it at a significant disadvantage to more innovative competitors.
- Few state restrictions
- Track coverage
- 2% cash back on wagers
However, WatchandWager’s weekly rewards program and welcome bonus make it an attractive option for bettors in the market for a new online racebook.
Read our detailed WatchandWager review below for all the details.
Editors Note: BettingUSA has no relationship or communication with WatchandWager. While that is not concerning in itself, we recommend horse bettors to only use the nation’s leading horse racing betting apps.

Handicapping features and tools Small welcome bonusThe WatchandWager website has a simple design and is light on features, but it covers a good deal of horse racing tracks. If you’ve had trouble signing up at other sites due to your location or if you like to bet on races hosted around the world, Watch and Wager may accept your business.
WatchandWager Bonus and Promo Code
WatchandWager offers a $100 welcome bonus to all new users. Bettors who sign up for an account with the Watch and Wager promo code “NEW100” and make a first deposit of at least $20 qualify for up to $100 in bonus credits.
The three-part WatchandWager bonus requires customers to claim it with three deposits as follows:
- First deposit: Deposit $20 or more for a $20 bonus credit
- Second deposit: Deposit $30 or more for a $30 bonus credit
- Third deposit: Deposit $50 or more for a $50 bonus credit
It’s not a big offer, but it’s open to all new customers and comes with a reasonable 1x rollover on the qualifying deposit and bonus. For example, a new user who deposits $20 and receives a $20 WatchandWager bonus needs to place $40 worth of horse racing wagers before withdrawing any bonuses.
Bettors cannot withdraw the deposit bonus funds, but they may withdraw any winnings after meeting the 1x rollover. In addition, customers cannot use the bonus credit on place and show wagers.
USE WatchandWager Promo Code: NEW100

WatchandWager.com Horse Racing Betting
The real-money betting options at Watch and Wager cover most of the world’s major horse and greyhound racing tracks. They offer more coverage than any other site at the moment. You can bet on horse races that take place in the United States, the UK, Australia, France, Canada, Ireland, Norway, New Zealand, Sweden and South Africa.
Thoroughbred horse racing makes up the majority of what they cover but they also offer harness racing, quarter horses, and greyhounds. You can sort the list of available tracks by date, country, type of race, and specific track. From there, you can select the individual event and may choose from all the same bets offered at the racetrack.
WatchandWager.com has agreements with every track in its lineup to comingle bets taken online with those accepted at the racetrack. In other words, the money you bet goes to the actual betting pool and you are paid at full track odds if you win.
The betting interface is organized in a manner that I found easy to use. Once you select a specific race, the website brings up a large betting area that shows participating horses and all available bets at that track. You can use a tab system near the top of the screen to move between different types of wagers such as straight-up bets on the winner, exotics, daily doubles, pick 3s, and so on. Here’s an example from one race today:

Each deposit method comes with different minimums and maximums but all methods are free to use.
WatchandWager Mobile Betting
Point your mobile device to www.watchandwager.com and the website will automatically format itself to your device. I’ve tried the website with my iPhone several times and found the mobile-friendly easy to use even if it was nothing special.
Customers on mobile may log in to their account, manage their finances, and place real money bets on any of the day’s races. Live racing video isn’t yet available on the mobile interface but that should be coming soon. Here are a couple of screenshots from earlier today:
WatchandWager Customer Support
The customer support team at Watch and Wager is easy to contact and responsive. While writing this review, I had a question to which I couldn’t find the answer online. I sent an e-mail to customer support on a Saturday evening and had a personal response roughly 15 minutes later.
Customer support normally wouldn’t be something I place high on my priority list because I don’t typically have many questions or problems with regulated betting sites. However, that quick response time was worth mentioning.

Expert Opinion: Is WatchandWager Legit?
WatchandWager is a legal and licensed online racebook with offices in San Francisco, CA, and Lexington, KY. It’s not a particularly high-profile brand, but it is a safe betting site with a positive track record.
Its parent company, Webis Holdings, also holds a California horse racing license to host standardbred harness races every year at Cal Expo. Similarly, WatchandWager operates harness racing at Arizona Downs in Prescott Valley, AZ. WatchandWager is legitimate, but it’s also a simple online racebook that lacks any defining features to make it unique among its many competitors.
