DraftKings Millionaire Maker Accepting Entries Now

North America’s newest millionaire will be crowned this Sunday at DraftKings.com. The $2.2M Millionaire Maker NFL contest has a total prize pool of $2,200,000 guaranteed and will pay exactly $1 million to the first-place winner. You can join the action this Sunday for a measly $27.

The cool thing about the DraftKings Millionaire Maker is that this one has a top-heavy prize structure. The FanDuel Sunday Million has a larger overall prize pool at $2.5 million but that one only pays $300,000 to first place. DraftKing’s big Sunday contest has a slightly smaller overall prize pool but is paying 3x more to its first place winner.

There are pros and cons to both prize structures. The flat FanDuel DFS payout structure pays out prizes to a much larger percentage of the field, but those prizes aren’t as impressive. The top-heavy DraftKings payout structure means fewer people will get paid, but will be paid more. Obviously, the best solution is to just play in both.

  • Date: Sunday, November 23rd at 1:00 PM EST
  • Entry Fee: $27
  • First Place Prize: $1,000,000
  • Multiple Entries? Yes
  • Salary Cap: $50,000
  • Lineup: 8 players + one team’s entire defense
  • Game Days Covered: NFL Sunday and Monday Night

You’re permitted to submit as many entries as you want, provided you’re fine with paying the buyin for each entry. Multiple entries up the ante but they also give you a chance to try different teams and increase your odds of seeing a breakout lineup. In big events like this, it pays to take the risky but aggressive route. Multiple lineups allow you to do exactly that.

DraftKings.com is one of the two dominant names in online fantasy (the other being FanDuel.com). If your goal is to strike it big and actually get paid, you won’t go wrong with DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports. They’ve been around long enough to establish themselves as legitimate players. They pay their winners, provide fair games and host lots of contests in all different sports.

First, visit DraftKings.com and sign up for an account. Once you’re in, you can make a deposit with any credit card, debit card, PayPal account or Dwolla account. Head over to the games lobby, filter the games by “sport” and then you’ll see the $2.2M Millionaire Maker right at the top of the list. They’re always trying to gin up interest in this thing so they’ve got it listed prominently at the top.

DraftKings Millionaire Maker Satellites

Sometimes even just $27 is too much to justify when you’re working with a small bankroll – completely understandable. If you’re not ready to plop down $27 for one tournament, DraftKings.com hosts satellite tournaments every weekend for next week’s Millionaire Maker.

Satellite contests run $2 and have a field of 31 players. First and second place each get one ticket to the next Millionaire Maker. You can then use that ticket to play in the next one free of charge. Satellites are always a viable alternative to buying in direct.

Speaking of satellites, DraftKings.com is always hosting satellites for some event or other. They frequently run qualifiers to other $1 million+ events and occasionally even send players to major poker events hosted by the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour.

You can find the satellites by logging in to your account, visiting the lobby and then clicking on the “qualifiers” tab to filter the game list. This will show you a full list of all upcoming satellites to bigger events.
