The BetRivers $1,000,000 Beat the Spread giveaway officially launched at the start of NFL week one and will run through the rest of the regular season. As the name suggests, BetRivers will be giving away $1 million in bonus funds over the course of this year’s NFL season.
Participating in BetRivers’ Beat the Spread Challenge is simple. Customers who place $25 or more in wagers on NFL spreads with odds of -125 or longer each week earn leaderboard points at the following rates:
- Place spread bets on NFL games during the week: Earn 1 leaderboard point for each $25 or larger spread bet that wins
- Place a $25+ wager on the Game of the Week: Earn 3 leaderboard points if you place a winning spread bet of $25 or more on the designated game of the week – BetRivers will announce the game of the week prior to each Sunday slate
Every Tuesday, the top 200 bettors on the leaderboard receive a bonus worth up to $5,000. At the conclusion of the season, BetRivers will issue additional prizes to the top 1,000 customers on the leaderboard, including a top prize of $50,000 in bonus funds. In summary, BetRivers customers will have opportunities to win leaderboard bonuses every week while also competing for the season-long top prizes.

BetRivers customers can earn prizes via three mechanisms over the course of the NFL season:
- Every week: Top 200 bettors on the leaderboard earn bonuses ranging from $50 to $5,000
- End of the season: Top 1,000 bettors on the leaderboard at the end of the season earn bonuses ranging from $100 to $50,000

BetRivers will issue weekly bonuses to the winners every Tuesday by 3 PM ET and the season-end bonuses on January 12th.

BetRivers’ NFL pick’em contest is pretty straightforward, but there are three key things bettors need to know:
- Customers only earn leaderboard points for winning bets of $25 or greater at odds of -125 or longer (e.g., wagers at odds of -125, +110, +150, +200 count)
- BetRivers will exclude customers who attempt to game the promotion by placing combinations of wagers designed to minimize or eliminate risk
- The promotion runs from 9/8/2021 through 1/9/2022
