Tipico And TVM DOOH Sports Betting Odds Partnership

WSOP chooses CBS Sports in new TV coverage deal

Another partnership in the sports world has been forged, this time between Tipico and TVM DOOH. Tipico, Germany’s top sports betting provider and one of the world’s largest international sports betting companies, has joined forces with TVM DOOH, the largest display screen network throughout restaurants and bars in the nation.

Per the agreement, Tipico will have its live sports betting odds displayed on hundreds of TVM-owned bar screens in Colorado and will gain exclusive rights in New Jersey for the same. The Tipico brand will also be integrated into the content, giving it a marketing advantage from the alliance as well.

Real-Time Odds Integration

Tipico sportsbook odds will extend far beyond the traditional spread, moneyline, and over/under figures posted before games: it will also include real-time player props, boosted odds, in-game odds, and other live props and promos – something that is quickly becoming a large part of the mobile sports betting market.

Keith Gormley, VP Marketing, Tipico US, said of the union:

“We’re thrilled to partner with TVM DOOH to reach sports fans in two important markets for our brand. Real-time sports data and premium betting insights are at the core of our proprietary mobile sports betting product, and this partnership with TVM opens up a highly engaging channel to showcase our odds experience to future Tipico players.”

Elevating the Sports Bar Experience

One of the most significant benefits of the partnership is the ability for Tipico to leverage TVM DOOH’s custom-focused brand ads and audience segmentation based on API integration and real-time triggers. This information will enable Tipico to offer the best, up-to-date odds for viewers and allow for conversion tracking to brick-and-mortar locations where such metrics were previously only available online.

Factors like time of day, location, and venue will play into the different ways Tipico will target its audience, all of which are designed to elevate the sports bar experience in which TVM DOOH screens are present.

TVM DOOH Chief Commercial Officer Pedram Denash confirmed the primary focus, stating the company “look(s) to elevate the sports bar experience with exciting offers and live odds in the moments that matter most.”

Polis On Board with Tipico’s Expansion

Just last month, Colorado became the second state for the Malta-based giant to expand into domestically, doing so in a partnership with Century Casinos to obtain its sports betting license. The expansion came more than eight months after Tipico opened its doors to New Jersey sports bettors, where its US headquarters are based (Hoboken).

In addition to sports betting, however, Tipico Colorado also chose Denver as its technology hub earlier this month, which beat out more than 100 metro areas and will look to create 441 jobs over the next eight years at an average annual salary of nearly $100,000.

Such a decision earned the acclaim of Gov. Jared Polis, who praised Colorado voters for creating a promising and welcoming landscape for Colorado sports betting. Polis also added that such a decision on Tipico’s part only confirmed his beliefs that Colorado is the best place in the country to live and work.

“I couldn’t be more excited for Tipico,” Polis added.

Following in the Garden State’s Footsteps

Tipico is already known for being the largest sports betting provider in Germany and one of the top operators worldwide. Tipico hopes to strengthen its positions and overall brand in both New Jersey and Colorado due to partnering with TVM.

TVM’s Danesh was also excited at the opportunity: “We’ve seen Tipico grow in the New Jersey market, and we’re excited to help strengthen their brand position and launch in new regions like Colorado by digitally activating bar patrons. We expect a high level of audience engagement during the partnership, and we are excited to announce additional innovations throughout the football season.”
