Wynn Rewards Explained: Now Available On WynnBET

Wynn Rewards

Wynn Resorts updated its Red Card loyalty program to the new Wynn Rewards in December 2020, significantly improving it in many ways.

However, the Wynn Rewards loyalty program is now fairly complicated. It uses three point variants, and WynnBET often uses vague language when describing how to earn them. In this guide, BettingUSA takes a deep dive into the WynnBet Rewards program and unshrouds the mystery behind some of its more convoluted components.

WynnBET SportsbookBet $100, Get $100Get Bonus

Two of the most notable changes to Wynn Rewards include increasing the number of loyalty tiers to four and adding a host of enticing benefits. Some of Wynn Rewards’ perks include discounted or free hotel stays, birthday and spa credits, personal casino hosts, and the ability to exchange points earned online for bet credits and land-based comps.

Additionally, Wynn unified the rewards program across its WynnBET sports betting app, WynnBET Casino, and all its North American properties.

The updated program now bears a stronger resemblance to loyalty programs offered by the country’s largest and most successful casino operators, like MGM Rewards and Caesars Rewards.

Wynn Rewards Snapshot

  • Sign up for a Wynn Rewards account at an enrollment kiosk or online.
  • WynnBET members without a Wynn Rewards account are automatically registered and can check their status online.
  • Earn Slot Points and redeem FREECREDIT for free play at Wynn Resorts or bet credits and casino bonuses at WynnBET
  • Earn COMPDOLLARS based on play and use them for just about any on-property purchase.
  • Work your way up the program’s three annual tiers (Red, Platinum, and Black) by earning Tier Credits.
  • VIPs may be invited to the program’s exclusive top tier, the Chairman’s Club.
  • As a higher tier member, earn Slot Points and COMPDOLLARS even faster and gain access to a number of exclusive benefits.

Now that Wynn Rewards has been integrated with WynnBET, the program has become much more accessible. Previously, players could only earn points and status at a North American Wynn resort, of which there are only three: two in Las Vegas (Wynn Las Vegas and Encore) and one in Boston (Encore Boston Harbor).

However, WynnBET has closed operations in multiple states, after struggling to gain significant marketshare.

How To Sign Up For A Wynn Rewards Account

Players who do not have a Wynn Rewards account have a few registration options.

If they’re visiting a land-based Wynn casino, they can either sign up at an enrollment kiosk or at the Wynn Rewards desk. The registration process takes no longer than a few minutes, and players will be able to enjoy select benefits immediately.

Players can also sign up online through a dedicated Wynn Rewards web portal. To get started, they’ll need to provide some basic information like their full name, date of birth, and state of residence, but overall, it’s a quick process.

Note: Wynn players who already have a physical card should still register online, as it will allow them to view their current FREECREDIT and COMPDOLLARS balances and check if they have any outstanding hotel offers.

The third way is to create a WynnBET account. Once successfully registered, players will be automatically enrolled with Wynn Rewards and can view their status directly from the WynnBET app. New members also receive a card ID, which allows them to easily create an online Wynn Rewards account or get a physical card at a Wynn land-based property.

Existing Wynn Rewards members who sign up for accounts with WynnBET can verify and link their accounts directly through the WynnBET app or website.

Earning FREECREDIT With Wynn Rewards

FREECREDIT will probably be the most appealing virtual currency to gamblers, as they can use it to play casino games and bet on sports.

At brick-and-mortar Wynn properties, players must first earn Slot Points and then convert them to FREECREDIT. Players earn Slot Points by playing slot and video poker games at the following rates per 1 Slot Point:

  • 1 Slot Point per $5 slot coin-in
  • 1 Slot Point per $10 coin-in on most video poker machines
  • 1 Slot Point per $20 coin-in on select video poker machines

It appears that only full-pay video poker machines are subject to the lower earn rate.

Unfortunately, table games play and retail sports wagers do not earn Slot Points.

Once players achieve 500 Slot Points, they can convert points to FREECREDIT at a rate of 1 Slot Point = $0.01. Thus 500 Slot Points are equal to $5 FREECREDIT. To use FREECREDIT, a player must insert their Wynn Rewards Card into an eligible machine and use the Point Play feature. Then, the FREECREDIT will be loaded into the machine on a per-spin basis.

When betting online, WynnBET players bypass part of the land-based process. Instead of having to first earn Slot Dollars and convert them, online players earn FREECREDIT directly as a result of their play. Also, both online casino games and sports wagers accrue FREECREDIT, making WynnBET a more rewarding destination for bettors than Wynn’s retail sportsbooks.

Note: Slot Points and FREECREDIT expire 12 months after the day they’re earned.

Members can redeem FREECREDIT online for sports bet credits or casino bonuses in states where WynnBET offers online casino games. These transactions are conducted through WynnBET’s Rewards Store, which is located under the “Wynn Rewards” section of the app.

WynnBET Rewards Store

Bonuses redemptions start at $5 and climb all the way to $100. Realistically, there is no limit on how many redemptions a player can claim per day.

FREECREDIT earned online can be redeemed at live Wynn properties, and vice versa. The loyalty program is truly integrated across all of Wynn’s gaming verticals.

Note: Online slots on WynnBET have a much higher return-to-player than their land-based counterparts, so online players will accrue significantly more FREECREDIT per theoretical dollar lost.

FREECREDIT Cashback Rates

In terms of cashback rates, FREECREDIT ranks about average compared to industry standards.

Players earn 0.2% cashback as FREECREDIT on slots play and 0.05 – 0.1% cashback when playing video poker games. The exact amount of cashback accrued when placing online sports bets is unknown, but it appears to be in line with the slots rate.

Platinum and Black card players earn 20% – 30% more Slot Points, respectively, but this bonus only applies to play at land-based Wynn casinos. These bonuses modestly boost the FREECREDIT cashback rate on slots from 0.2% to 0.24% – 0.26% and from 0.1% to 0.12% – 0.13% on video poker games.

How To Earn Wynn Rewards COMPDOLLARS

Wynn Rewards members can also earn COMPDOLLARS. Unlike FREECREDIT, this virtual currency can be generated by playing any real-money game.

Unfortunately, Wynn doesn’t provide much information on how many COMPDOLLARS players can expect to earn on their play. There’s only one vague reference that reads “COMPDOLLARS are based on bet amount and type of game played.”

However, some digging reveals that players receive 5% of their theoretical loss back as COMPDOLLARS. Theoretical loss is what players are expected to lose on average, when playing a game with an inherent house edge.

As an example, let’s say that a slot machine returns 95%. The house edge is simply 100% minus the return, or 5% in this scenario. That means for every $100 a player runs through the machine, they should expect to lose $5. That figure is the theoretical loss, and Wynn Rewards members would receive 5% of that figure, or $0.25 back as COMPDOLLARS.

Of course, a player’s actual results will vary wildly from their theoretical hold. This is due to game volatility, which is a more determining factor in the short term. However, over many spins, the real-world results should be relatively in line with the game’s return.

It is speculated that Wynn also gives approximately 30% of a player’s theoretical losses back as other comps, for a total comp kickback of 35%. These additional comps may take the forms of mailers, online bonuses, bounce-back cash, gifts, free hotel stays, dining and entertainment packages, and shopping sprees.

Redeeming COMPDOLLARS

Players can only redeem COMPDOLLARS at brick & mortar Wynn properties, so they really don’t have much value to online-only players.

At Wynn’s physical locations, guests can exchange COMPDOLLARS for just about any non-gaming purchase including dining, hotel rooms, retail purchases at dozens of stores, spa and salon visits, and at the golf course.

Note: COMPDOLLARS earned at Wynn Las Vegas or Encore Las Vegas expire 12 months after issuance. However, COMPDOLLARS acquired at Encore Boston Harbor expire after six months.

Players can earn between a daily maximum of $5,000 – $20,000 COMPDOLLARS in Vegas, depending on their tier, but only $3,000 – $10,000 at Encore Boston Harbor. Once they reach the daily maximum, they’ll have to spend some in order to keep generating value.

Earning Wynn Rewards Tier Credits

Tier Credits determine each member’s annual status. Wynn Rewards keeps it pretty simple by offering three annual tiers and one invite-only level. They are:

  • Red: Everyone starts here
  • Platinum: 7,000 Tier Credits
  • Black: 70,000 Tier Credits
  • Chairman’s Club = Invite Only

Notice the huge divide between Platinum and Black. Most semi-casual gamblers should have little trouble breaking into the Platinum tier, but Black will require a 10x commitment.

Once again, Wynn is intentionally vague with regard to how much play it will take to climb the status ladder. However, some savvy gamblers have figured out the equation.

Players receive approximately 2.33 Tier Credits for every theoretical dollar lost. It’s also been speculated that it takes a $150k theoretical loss or a staggering $150k loss in one visit to be considered for the Chairman’s Club.

Here is a full breakdown:

  • Red: $0 theoretical loss
  • Platinum: $3,000 theoretical loss
  • Black: $30,000 theoretical loss
  • Chairman’s Club: $150,000 theoretical loss

The $150k theoretical benchmark is roughly the same as it is to achieve MGM’s invite-only tier (Noir). In either case, they’re clearly only reserved for the most dedicated high-stakes gamblers.

Players earn Tier Credits for their real-money play, both online at WynnBET and at retail Wynn properties. Most games are eligible, however, it does appear that retail sports wagers are excluded.

Wynn Rewards Tiers And Benefits

Wynn Rewards offers an impressive array of rewards to Red members, but the benefits really start to ramp up once they hit Platinum.

Once a player reaches a new tier, they’ll remain at that level for the duration of the remaining calendar year, and the entirety of the following calendar year.

Red Card Benefits: All Members Start Here

Wynn Rewards Red Card

Entry-level players will get more mileage out of Wynn Rewards than they will out of comparable casino loyalty programs:

  • Earn and redeem Slot Points and COMPDOLLARS at Wynn properties
  • Earn FREECREDIT on WynnBET and redeem for bet and casino credits
  • Receive invitations to select special events, promos, and tournaments
  • Hotel discounts (up to 30% off)
  • Exclusive friends and family offer
  • Discounted Holland American Line cruise for two, subject to availability

For players that frequent Wynn casinos, the hotel discount is well worth the two minutes it takes to sign up. Most casino loyalty programs will task players with reaching at least their second tier before offering room markdowns.

Platinum Card Benefits: 7,000+ Tier Credits

Wynn Rewards Platinum Card

Platinum members receive all the benefits of Red Card players, plus a slew of enticing extras, including:

  • Earn COMPDOLLARS up to 10x faster than Red (WynnBET only), for redemption at retail Wynn properties
  • Priority access to special events and promos
  • 20% bonus on Slot Points earned for FREECREDIT
  • Priority slot service
  • Priority restaurant seating and reservations
  • Comped Holland America Line cruise for two
  • Comped spa credit ($100)
  • Comped birthday dinner credit ($150)
  • Birthday FREECREDIT
  • Two comped Wynn Master Classes for two guests

The big standout is the increased COMPDOLLARS earning rate. Assuming a base rate of 5% theoretical, it’s at least conceivable that Platinum players could earn 50% of their theoretical losses back as COMPDOLLARS. This is a significant enough lure that online players should seriously consider visiting retail Wynn casinos.

The other benefits are excellent but are heavily skewed toward retail players. It would be nice to see WynnBET bettors receive a few extra goodies.

Black Card Benefits: 70,000+ Tier Credits

Wynn Rewards Black Card

Given the huge chasm between Platinum and Black ($27,000 theoretical loss), the added benefits aren’t that spectacular.

  • Earn COMPDOLLARS up to 30x faster than Red (WynnBET only), for redemption at retail Wynn properties
  • 30% bonus on Slot Points earned for FREECREDIT
  • Personal Casino Host
  • Comped hotel stays and late checkout
  • Free room upgrades
  • Comped nightclub entry
  • Comped valet service
  • Larger spa ($200) and birthday dinner ($300) credits
  • Four comped Wynn Master Classes for two guests
  • Comped round of golf at Wynn Golf Club (for two)

In short, Black members receive most of the same benefits as Platinum Card holders, but the monetary amounts are higher. The main perk is access to a personal host, which will allow players to negotiate for more free play and lossback, and other unlisted perks.

The 30x faster earn rate on COMPDOLLARS at WynnBET almost feels like a mistake, because it would equate to 150% of a player’s theoretical loss. In other words, there are times when Black players would gain a significant edge over the house.

Further investigation is needed to see if this perk is actually legit, but we’re presuming the 30x earn rate is only applicable under very specific conditions, like a once-per-year promotion or a guarantee of a certain amount of action.

Chairman’s Club Benefits: Invitation Only

Wynn is very secretive about its Chairman’s Club perks, hiding them deep in the Wynn Rewards T&C.

Essentially, they’re the same as Black Card benefits, with just one added luxury: complimentary airport transportation for on-property stays. There are references to additional perks, but Wynn Rewards doesn’t spell out the details.

The assumption is that Wynn prefers the Chairman’s Club to maintain an element of mystique, as that may draw curious high-rollers. Given the nearly impossible entry requirements, only a select few will find out what the program truly entails.
